Featured Project: Meat-Cute Romance

I led the ideation, development, and execution of an April Fools’ activation for Omaha Steaks in 2025 that generated 150 earned media stories and more than 271.4 million media impressions.

Our team was recognized with an Award of Excellence at the 2025 PRSA Nebraska Chapter Paper Anvil Awards recognizing the best work by Nebraska’s public relations, marketing, and communication professionals.

Featured Miss

Part of being a writer is learning how to fail better. In doing so, we have just as many (if not more) failed pitches as we have successes.

This is a rough proof-of-concept I put together with a couple of designers to pitch a 4th of July brand film that could function as the messaging basis for shorter social and TV ads during the summer of 2026.

The company opted to go in a different direction, but I’m still very proud of the work we did, and I think we learn just as much from striking out as we do from the home runs. That’s why I feel it’s important to share the projects that failed to land. It’s all part of the process.
