Okay, this part’s about me.

After more than a decade in creative advertising, I can confidently say I don’t believe there’s such thing as good or bad copy. There’s effective copy and ineffective copy. Effective copy tells a story. It makes a connection. It evokes emotion. It inspires action.

This is the part where I’m supposed to tell you I’m a strategic problem-solver. A creative jack-of-all-trades. I’m supposed to tout my degrees in art and English. I’m supposed to tell you how much I love synthesis, collaboration, out-of-the-box thinking, and Oxford commas. I’m pretty sure I’m supposed to throw in some words like “dynamic” and “synergy” and “KPIs,” too.

But I didn’t call this page “About Me.” I called it “About Us.”

That’s because the purpose of writing is to create connections.

Those business considerations are important. They’re the driving force behind what we do. But the way we make connections that last and drive growth is by building authentic relationships with our audience through language and experiences.

Humans are born to tell stories. It’s an essential human instinct that drives people to think, to feel, and to act. Through storytelling, we build connections across time, culture, and geography. We gain a deeper understanding of our world and ourselves. We create bridges and empower people to see the best in themselves and in others.

The function of the creative professional is to ensure we’re hitting our objectives without losing our souls. The projects that deliver are the ones with a pulse. If Marketing is the brain, Creative is the heart.

I’m an experienced writer and creative professional who’s ready to help you tell your story. Let’s do this.
